Amena Begum, SP, Narsingdi has said the imams and other Islamic scholars could play pivotal role in preventing terrorism and militancy to make the nation free from stigma. The police Super said this while she was addressing a function organised by Islamic Foundation Narsingdi at its office premises on the occasion of the 40th founding anniversary of Islamic Foundation on Sunday. Addressing as the main discussant ,district Muktijuddah Commander Abdul Motaleb Pathen said the Islam has no relation with any short of militancy, violence and other anarchic activities. With the chair of Deputy Director Islamic Foundation Narsingdi Mohammad Mohiuddin, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Suriaya Begum addressed in the function as special guest .Moulana Sultan Uddin Nori renowned Islamic scholar also addressed in the function. Earlier a large rally paraded in main roads of the town led by Deputy director Islamic Foundation Mohammad Mohiuddin.Narsingdi Correspondent
