Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has detained four Bangladeshi detectives from Ashabarhi border in Comilla.
The personnel of police’s Detective Branch crossed into the Indian side inadvertently on Wednesday evening while searching for smugglers, Assistant Superintendent Jahangir Alam said.They were Assistant Sub-Inspectors ‘Alamgir’ and ‘Sabuj’, and Constables ‘Taposh’ and ‘Selim’.
Jahangir said top officers were in touch with their Indian counterparts to bring them back.
