Abdul Jabbar couldn’t live longer…..

Celebrated singer and music composer Mohammad Abdul Jabbar could not live with us for some more time; the cold touch of death had grasped him and taken away to the unreturnable world on August 30, 2017.Death is inevitable, no living being can avoid death but still many of us feel that if we could live a little longer, of course in capable physical and mental condition, we could do some betterment for self and welfare for others.
Abdul Jabbar also wished to live a little longer to sing for some more time and to contribute something from his talent to our music arena. He made this appeal from his sick bed. He had long been suffering from kidney ailments and both of his kidneys had gone non-functioning. Doctors at BSMMU had tried their best to save the life of the iconic singer but due to financial constraints, his kidney could not be transplanted.
It is true that treating some adverse medical condition needs a huge sum of money which is very difficult to arrange. Perhaps, the Government and other philanthropic organizations should constitute an exclusive fund to provide financial assistances to celebrities to ensuring advanced treatment when they get seriously sick.
Meanwhile, I am an ardent admirer for singer Abdul Jabbar. His songs are indeed very melodious and inspiring. One feature of his singing always attracts me, that is, his pronouncing of words in lyrics. I am really shocked and saddened to hear his death news. May God grant him heaven!
