Every year we observed that a few special trains, as well as a few extra compartments, are added to the existing train services in almost all the routes of train services from Dhaka to other districts and it happens only just before and after Eid. Undoubtedly, it’s ease the journey of home goers journey to some extent though getting a ticket is not easy but it should be. A large number of people travel almost every weekend by train. Commuters of those families do not live in Dhaka and some visit parents or other relatives. So, Bangladesh Railway should introduce return/round tickets and even monthly tickets. BR can introduce cheaper tickets for one or two compartments considering the situation of disadvantaged people.
Almost same troubles are faces every weekend while going to and coming back after we visit our families at each weekend.
So, every weekend a special train can be introduced after office hours on each Thursday for arriving home and also on Sunday morning to reach office in time.
