Admission test in agricultural universities 30 November

Dhaka, Nov 28 – Agricultural University admission test of 2019-20 academic year will be held on 30 November for enrollment in seven public universities to reduce the hassle for admission candidates. This year Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) leading this cluster system. All necessary preparation has been completed to organize the admission test for the first time in the country. This year 75,939 applicants applied against 3,555 seats in seven agriculture-based degree offering universities and the authority selected 35,982 applicants based on CGPA for the admission test. Under the supervision of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the admission test will be held simultaneously in six university centres. All necessary security measures have been taken to ensure the admission test. There is no chance for question leaking and authorities have concerned to prevent any digital fraud. Students and parents have been asked to not listen to any rumours, said on a press conference held at BAU Vice-Chancellor office secretariat.
The chairman of agricultural university cluster system admission test and Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Lutful Hassan, Pro-VC Prof Dr Md Jasimuddin Khan, register Saiful Islam, student affairs adviser, treasurer, proctor, deans of different faculties, teachers and officers were present on the press conference.
