Advance train tickets for all classes will be issued between Oct 2- 6 in view of Eid-ul-Azha. Return tickets for the capital will be on sale from Oct 9 to Oct 13.
Md Abu Taher, Director General of Bangladesh Railway in a press conference on Tuesday, detailed the special arrangement for the Eid.
Tickets for travelling between Oct 11 and Oct 15 will have to be collected between Oct 2 and Oct 6. The tickets for travelling on Oct 18 to Oct 22 must be collected between Oct 9 to Oct 13.
Duty officials in the railway will not enjoy vacations on this Eid and off day for trains have been cancelled said Railways Minister Mujibul Haque, said the DG in the press brief.-bdnews24.com
