Two primary school teachers jailed by mobile court in Barisal

A mobile court on Monday night sentenced two primary school teachers
for involving scuffle during school hours in Uzirpur upazila of
Barisal.
Police and local sources said Jahangir Kabir, headmaster and Mahmuda
Begum, assistant teacher of Bamrail government primary school engaged
in altercation and scuffle at about 11:40am in school compound in
presence of the students.
Then both teachers filed allegations against each others to the
upazila administration.
Shohrab Hosssain, Uzirpur upazila nirbahi officer, formed a mobile
court in this regard at about 8:00 pm at UNO office.
The UNO sentenced the headmaster to six-month and the female teacher
to  three-month imprisonment after hearing and cross examining the
statements of the accuses and  whiteness .
Police took the teachers in custody and prepared file to send them to
the jail till filing the report, said Sub Inspector Humaun Kabir of
Uzirpur police station.
