A man was killed and 20 others were injured as two factions of Awami League clashed at Kholsedubi village in Saltha upazila on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Babu Matobbor, 30.Tota Mia, officer-in-charge of Saltha Police Station said the clash took place between the supporters of Syed Ali, general secretary of upazila Swechhasebok League and Chowdhury Sabbir Hossain, organising secretary of the upazila AL around 1pm over establishing supremacy in the area, leaving Babu dead on the spot and 20 others injured.
The injured were admitted at the local health complex and Faridpur Medical College Hospital. – UNB
