As per the confessional statement of detained Abul Kalam, 34, police recovered one foreign made pistol with two rounds of ammunitions and one country made LG shooter gun with two rounds of ammunitions from underground of his shop at Taluch market under Dupchacia upazila of the district early this morning.Officer in Charge (OC) of Dupchacia Thana Nazrul Islam said Abul Kalam in his confessional statement gave the information of keeping arms and ammunition under the ground of his shop.The OC said police arrested Abul Kalam on suspicion on Thursday and produced him before the court on the same day and demanded him on remand. The court gave him on remand.The OC also said during the interrogation on remand Abul Kalam disclosed the information about keeping arms and ammunitions in his possession. On the basis of the information provided by Abul Kalam police recovered the arms and ammunitions from his possession this morning.
