Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, High Commission of India, Dhaka presented a colourful and beautiful evening of classical dance—Bharatnatyam and traditional Bangladeshi dances at Chhayanaut Main Auditorium on Saturday.
The evening was witnessed by an enthusiastic audience who were spellbound by the professional and talented artistes from group of Anisul Islam Hero(Srishti Cultural Centre) showcasing Bharatnatyam and traditional dance forms followed by classical Bharatnatyam by a talented student of Kalpataru, Avantika Menon who enthralled the audience with her very professional and aesthetically articulated performance. The artistes of Srishti Cultural Centre who are being trained by Anisul Islam Hero presented not only beautiful Bharatnatyam dance but also many indigenous folk dance forms.
