After Sajeeb Wazed Joy and Sheikh Hasina, Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam said his party would assume power by people’s support.The spokesperson for the party came up with the assertion while addressing an Iftar party at Ladies Club in the city on Monday.
Awami League Publicity and Publication Department organized the Iftar party.
Ashraful, also local government and rural development minister, said he does not have information but in future, election would be held and Awami League would assume power by people’s support and strong leadership of Sheikh Hasina.
On July 23, Sheikh Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wazed Joy said in an Iftar party he has information that Awami League would assume power in the next general elections.
