Tarique Siddique stresses synergy between all national forces

The Prime Minister’s adviser on national security Major General Tarique Ahmed Siddique (Retd) has emphasized the need for greater synergy and integrity among all national forces, be they military or civil, for attaining the much-coveted goals of national development and security.He also reiterated the Government’s continuous efforts in developing the country to fulfill the desire of the people and accomplishing the UN-mandated Sustainable Development Goals in future.

Mj. Gen. Siddique made these remarks while addressing the graduation dinner of the National Defence Course 2016 and Armed Forces War Course 2016, held at the National Defence College (NDC) in Mirpur Cantonment in the city on Thursday night, according to a media release of Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR).Addressing the programme, he highlighted the role of the NDC in building national cohesion to address development challenges in Bangladesh.The adviser congratulated all course members of the National Defence Course 2016 and Armed Forces War Course 2016 for successful completion of the course. In doing so he expressed his satisfaction at the high standard of education imparted at NDC.Commandant, National Defence College, Lieutenant General Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy congratulated the graduating members and thanked the faculty members and staff officers of the college for their relentless hard work in making the courses successful.Among others, Acting Chief of Army staff, Chief of Naval Staff, Acting Chief of Air Staff, PSO AFD, Professors of different universities, distinguished personalities, Defence Advisers/ Attaches of different countries in Bangladesh and high officials of the Defence Forces attended the Graduation Dinner.
