An auto-rickshaw driver was electrocuted to death in Railway station area under Boalia Police Station in the city yesterday morning, police and hospital sources said.The deceased was identified as Biplob Hossain, 24, son of Aslam Hossain of Darusha village under Paba Upazila of the district.Quoting locals, Shahadat Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Boalia Model Police Station, said Biplob went to a garage of Nurul Islam to take his battery-run rickshaw. He came in contact with a live electric wire while he was disconnecting it from battery charge around 10 am.He was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where attending doctors declared him dead.A case of unnatural death was recorded with the police station, the OC added. -BSS,Rajshahi
