DHAKA – Bangladesh Navy clinched U-23 group title of the Bangabandhu 3 on 3 Basketball tournament beating Joshe Fights Club by 14-12 points in the final held today at Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the city.
In the U-18 group final, Bangladesh Air Force beat Hornets Sporting Club by 17-14 points to clinch the title. In the U-16 group final, Flame Boys B team emerged champions beating Flame Boys A team by 8-6 points.
Bangladesh Basketball Federation (BBF) president Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin was present in the finals as the chief guest and distributed the prizes.
BBF vice president Mainul Ahsan Monju, BBF general secretary and South Asian Basketball Association secretary general lieutenant commander AK Sarkar (retd) and other federation officials were also present in the prize distribution ceremony.BSS
