BAU Teacher Forum allege cheating with Bangabandhu ideal

Mymensingh, Feb 23 – Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) Awami backed teachers’ organization ‘Democratic Teachers Forum’ has made allegation of cheating with the ideology of Bangabandhu.
By capitalizing on the ideology of Bangabandhu, they are sharing benefits with leftist teachers of the university. They are implementing different arbitrariness, autocratic behavior and regional quotation. ‘Neel Dol’, a teachers’ organization alleged these at a press conference held at the office of the Bangladesh Agricultural University Journalists’ Association on Saturday. During this time, ‘Neel Dol’ claimed them the true holders of Bangabandhu’s ideology.
‘Neel Dol’ president Prof Dr SM Rahmatullah, General Secretary Professor Mohammad Sajjad Hossain, convener of the party’s election committee Prof Dr Ujjal Kumar Nath and member Professor Dr Md Ahsan Bin Habib and Professor Dr Syed Md. Ehsanur Rahman was present on the press conference.
Professor Mohammad Sajjad Hossain said in the written statement that no writing of ‘Joy Bangla’, ‘Joy Bangabandhu’ in the democratic Teachers’ Forum in the event, said Professor Mohammad Sajjad Hossain.
General Secretary of the Democratic Teachers Forum Dr. Subash Chandra Das said that democratic teachers’ forum is a part of the independence of the Liberation War and not any part of Bangladesh Awami League. The allegations against it are totally baseless. Apart from the 1973 ordinance of the University, teachers can not directly join any political party. – BAU Correspondent
