Mymensingh, Aug 5 – Bangladesh Chhatra Union (BCU) of Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh, organized a torch rally protesting against police and terrorist attacks on students across the country. They demonstrated on the campus at 7:30 on Sunday night. The torch march started from the ‘Jobbar Mor’ of the university and paraded main streets in the campus. About 50 BAU students’ Union activists took part in the procession.
Speakers at the rally said that police and ruling party organizations swooped on the agitating students demanding a safe road. Students are injured in different places in the country.
They also strongly condemned the incident and demanded exemplary punishment for the attackers. – BAU Correspondent
