BGB- BSF frontier conference held in Benapole

A sector commander level conference between the frontier forces of the two neighbourning countries- Bangladesh and India was held at Benapole , Lt Col Jahangir Hossain, commanding officer, 26 Border Guard Battalion confirmed New Nation during a short break of the conference.
Talking to New Nation, the BGB CO told that trans-border killings, smugglings, trafficking in persons and some other bilateral issued was being focused in the conference that was continuing till 5:45pm.
The conference was begun at around 11 am at the headquarters of the BGB at Benapole, BGB sources said.BSF officials led by Arbind Singha, acting sector commander, Kolkata BSF were accorded welcome by the BGB on arrival on the no-man’s land earlier.
