DHAKA: Some 15-cabin-crew of Biman Bangladesh Arlines were suspended for stealing passengers’ commodities at Heathrow Airport in London.Suspended are Tojammel Hossain Khan, Dilruba, Taher, Rini, Joly, Sinthia, Oishi, Monir, Toaufiq, Amin, Iftekhar, Farzana, Dippti, Maruf.
Action was taken following the directives of Biman Managing Director & CEO Kevin Steele.
Kevin said punitive action has been taken just after arrival at Dhaka. After getting full investigation report we will take further action.
When contacted to General Manager (customer service) of Biman Nurul Islam Hawlader told banglanews that after assuming this post none, who were involved carrying illegal goods, escaped unpunished.
Biman sources said on May 1 all suspended cabin crew were detained with illegal Cigarette, foods and wine which are purchased for Biman passengers.
