Dhaka – Muggers looted Tk 5 lakh from a sales officer of an agent of mobile money transfer window bKash after stabbing him at Shahebganj in Kaunia upazila in Rangpur on Sunday.The victim was identified as Shahrir Sumon.Mamunur Rashid, officer- in-charge of Kaunia Police Station, said a group of miscreants, numbering 4-5, intercepted Sumon’s motorcycle while he was going to Haragachh.Later, the hoodlums snatched a bag containing Tk 5 lakh after stabbing him around 12 noon, leaving him critically injured.Locals rescued Sumon and took him to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.No one was arrested in this connection.UNB news agency
