There are a lot of mistakes in the textbooks this year, mostly Bangla spelling mistakes and some others. This has happened previous years as well. The textbooks are not student-friendly. Textbook should be written in a way so that a student studiess these with interest and learn everything independently.We all know the reasons; shortage of time, shortage of knowledgeable and passionate staff, people would like to stay Dhaka and so she or he posted in NCTB etc.
Allocation to the education sector is inadequate. Nevertheless, free textbook distribution should be stopped. From this saved money and extra allocations quality teachers should be recruited and trained to teach students in schools.
Those who wrote textbooks particularly Math, science English and Bangla books did so with the editorial support from our experts.
A few years ago, some people were trained from UK and they wrote English textbooks for classes from VI to X which were comparatively better.
