On January 10 of 2008, Assistant Director Shafiul Alam of the Anti-Corruption (ACC) filed the case against Mosharraf Hossain and his wife Bilkis Akhter Hossain with Ramna Model Police Station in this regard.
On September 17, 2008, ACC Deputy Assistant Director Aftab Hossain, also the investigation officer (IO) of the case, submitted the charges to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka.
