Detectives in a drive arrested a district unit BNP leader from Horgram Bazaar area of the district town on Sunday on ‘sabotage charges’.The arrested was identified as Advocate Tofazzol Hossain Topu, 50, vice-president of BNP’s Rajshahi district unit.
Ifte Khaer Alam, assistant commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (Detective Branch), said a team of police conducted the drive in the area and arrested Topu on Monday noon. -UNB, Rajshahi
