Several courts of Dhaka on Monday passed orders to send BNP Standing Committee member Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia to the jail after he surrendered to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court in 14 courts.The BNP leader’s bail pleas were rejected in 10 cases, however, he secured bail in four cases. The cases were filed with Paltan, Motijheel, Mirpur, Pallabi and Jatrabari Police Stations of the capital on the charge of sabotage in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
