BNP leaders keeping mouths shut: Nazmul Huda

Barrister Nazmul Huda has accused the BNP leaders of keeping their mouths shut refraining from speaking for the people fearing to lose their party positions.
He made this comment while addressing a reception at the National Press Club in the honour of President and secretary of Supreme Court Bar Association Khadaker Mahbub Hossain and Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokan respectively.Bangladesh Agnisena Sangsad organised the reception. Nazmul Huda, who resigned from the BNP earlier on policy differences, alleged that the leaders of Awami League and BNP are behaving with people in an autocratic manner depriving people of justice and rights.
He also criticised the BNP leadership for not taking part in the January 5 polls. The former minister suggested the pro-BNP lawyers to take to the streets.
Presided over by Zahirul Haque Tuhin, chairman of the organisaiton, the function was also addressed, among others, by Advocate Khandaker Mahbub Hossain, Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokan and Juba Dal president Moazzem Hossain Alal. – Staff Reporter
