Bnp team signs Saudi condolence book on behalf of Khaleda

On behalf of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, a delegation led by standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed yesterday signed the condolence book opened at Saudi Embassy in Dhaka at the death of King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. He died on Friday.
BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia could not visit the Saudi Embassy to sign the condolence book as still remained sick with the shock of loss of her younger child Arafat Rahman Koko.The BNP delegation went to the Saudi Embassy at about 1:30pm and signed the condolence book, said BNP chairperson’s media wing member Shamsuddin Didar.
The leaders stayed there for some time and talked to the Saudi Ambassador.
They expressed their deep shock and sorrow at the death of Saudi King Abdullah, who was also the Custodian of two Holy Mosques.
They prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved royal family.
The other members of the delegation were: BNP standing committee member Dr Abdul Moeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Chowdhury Kamal Ibne Yusuf and Sabihuddin Ahmed. – Staff Reporter
