‘BNP welcomes dialogue’

BNP will welcome any dialogue or discussion for ensuring peace, and establishing people’s right to vote, one of the party’s Joint

Secretaries General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said.
He said this at a press conference held in the at Rajshahi metropolitan city BNP office on Friday morning.
He criticised the government’s double-standard of inviting the opposition for talks and committing atrocities on opposition activists
at the same time.
The senior BNP leader went on to say that he was prepared to die to ensure people’s right to vote in a free and fair election.
He alleged that the funeral prayers arranged for those killed during the recent 60-hour strike was obstructed by the government.-
