A man was killed in a bomb explosion at Pathanpaikpara under Bagharpara in Jessore early Sunday.
The dead was identified as Abdul Awal Hossain, 45, a resident of the area. Quayum Ali Sarder, officer in-charge, Bagharpara police station told that Abdul Awal died at Jessore Medical College Hospital after he was hurt in bomb explosion hurled by robbers at dead night. The victim rushed to the sport after hearing hue and cry of the members of Nizamuddin, a resident of the village as a gang of robbers try to loot valuables at the residence. Jessore Correspondent
