Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the house of a local Awami League leader at Kabarstan Road in the town on Tuesday night.
Officer-in-charge of Mangla Police Station M Aminul Islam said the miscreants hurled the petrol bomb at the house of Sheikh Abdur Rahman, general secretary of Mangla Municipality unit AL, around 8:30am, which exploded at its veranda.
No one was injured in the blast.
Abdur Rahman blamed Jamaat-Shibir activists for the attack. –UNB, Bagerhat
