A 10-year old boy who worked in a welding shop died from electrocution in his workplace in Adamdighi upazila on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Masum Rana, son of Ilias Ali of Sudin Village of the upazila.
Police said Masum died on the spot when he came in contact with a live electric wire while working at the welding shop at about 12pm.
Welding shop owner Palash Hossain went into hiding soon after the incident.
