Indian Border Security Force (BSF) troops picked up a Bangladeshi
teenager from Jamalpur border in Daulatpur upazila Sunday morning.
The victim was identified as Ershad Ali, 15, son of Hamed Ali of
Jamalpur village in the upazila.
BGB sources said the BSF members of Nasirapara camp in Nadia district
of India picked up Ershad while he was cutting grass near main pillar
no 154/5 of the border at around 8am.
Commander of Jamalpur BGB camp under BGB Kushtia-32 battalion Nayek
subedar Abdul Maleq said a letter has been sent to BSF protesting the
