The national budget for the fiscal year 2013-2014 will be placed before the parliament on June 6. Finance Minister AMA Muhith will place the budget. This will be the last budget of the incumbent Awami League-led government.
The upcoming budget is likely to be 13-14 percent higher than the previous fiscal year.
