Opposition BNP will not join the budget session on Thursday.BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed made the disclosure in a press briefing after second time walkout on Wednesday.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith is going to place the last budget of the incumbent government in the parliament on Thursday.
Sources said the total outlay of budget for the fiscal 2013-2014 is likely to be fixed at Tk 2.22 lakh crore with a budget deficit estimated at 4.6 per cent.
The projected rate of inflation for the next fiscal is likely to be 7.0 per cent, said a competent source from the finance ministry. (Banglanews24.com)
