Dhaka -The body of a young man who went missing following a boat capsize in the Buriganga river in Dakshin Keraniganj upazila on Wednesday was recovered on Saturday evening.The deceased was identified as Gautam Gosh, 28, a resident of
Mousundi area in Wari of the capital,UNB news agency reported.
Sub-inspector Delwar Hossain, in-charge of Sadarghat Terminal police outpost, said a boat carrying Subrata, 30, and his nephew Gautam capsized in the river after being hit by a sand-laden trawler and both the riders went missing.Later the body of Subrata was retrieved on the day of incident while Gautam still remained missing.A team of fire service divers retrieved Gautam’s body around 6pm, added the SI.
