Dhaka, Feb 14 – The Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court of Dhaka on Wednesday took cognizance of a charge sheet against BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and 58 others in an arson case filed with Paltan Police Station of the city.Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah of the court accepted the charge sheet yesterday. The court’s additional public prosecutor Tapas Kumar Pal told this to media people in the afternoon. On January 5, 2015, Mostak Ahmed, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Paltan Police Station filed the case. Later, Sub-inspector Dewan Uzzal Hossain of DB (East) submitted the charge sheet to the court after investigation. – Special Correspondent
