Bengal Classical Music Festival 2017 will happen finally. After much anticipation the sixth edition of the annual festival has been confirmed to start on December 26 at Abahani Math, Shat Masjid Road in Dhanmandi in the capital. Nearly all the participating artistes who had signed up for taking part in the festival early have consented to take part in this rescheduled phase. Almost eighty parcent of the artistes will take part amongst those who had been selected, Abul Khair, chairman of Bengal Foundation has confirmed. The festival will run till December 30. Besides this on November 14 Bengal launched a whole new modern library and reading platform in Dhanmondi under the name Bengal Boi.
