The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka yesterday fixed December 7 for submission of inquiry report in Publisher Faisal Arefin Dipan murder case.Meanwhile, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Lutfor Rahman Shishir of the CMM Court directed police to submit the probe report in the case filed for attempt to murder three persons including publisher Ahmedur Rashid on December 2.
Sub-Inspector Kutubul Alam has also informed newsmen that Magistrate Md Yunus Khan of the CMM Court accepted the First Information Report (FIR) in the case filed in connection of Dipan murder.
Dipan’s wife Dr Razia Rahman filed the case on Monday against unknown assailants after the publisher was hacked to death inside his office at the city’s Aziz Super Market in Shahbagh area.
Shuddhoshwar Prokashani owner Ahmedur Rashid Chowdhury Tutul also sued unknown miscreants over attempt on his life and two others- bloggers Tareq Rahmim and Ranadipam Basu at Tutul’s Lalmatia office.
