Annual sports and prize distribution function of the Chapainawabganj district police were held on May 23 at police lines field.Members of police, their family members, employees and the students of Police Lines Primary School took part in the competitions of the 21 events.After the day long competitions, the prize distribution function was held at the same ground in the afternoon with police super of Chapainawabganj Bashir Ahmed in the chair. Deputy inspector general (DIG) of police of Rajshahi range Mir Shahidul Islam distributed the prizes among the winners as chief guest. Among others, deputy commissioner of Chapainawabganj Sardar Sharafat Ali, commanding
officer of 9 battalion of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Lieutenant Colonnel Monjurul Alom, administrator of Chapainawabganj Zila Parishad Moinuddin Mondal and mayor of Chapainawabganj municipality Maolana Abdul Matin also attended the function.
