Dhaka – A college student allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at Arambagh in the municipality area here in Chapainawabganj on Friday.The deceased was identified as Nazmun Nahar Munni, 21, daughter of Saifuddin Alam and an honours second year student of History Department in Chapainawabganj Government College.Roni Saha, sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station, said Munni along with his sister used to live in a rented house in the area.Locals spotted her hanging body in her room in the morning and informed police. Police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.Police primarily suspected that Munni committed suicide but the reason behind suicide could not be known.UNB
