Police on Saturday recovered the hanging body of a college girl from a girls’ hostel at west Ramnagar of the town.
The deceased, identified as Ayesha Siddiqa Asha, 18, was an Honors first year student of Dinajpur Government College and daughter of Mansoor Ali of Kaliganj Bazar village in Haripur upazila of Thakurgaon.
Hashem Ali, owner of the hostel, said they found Asha hanging from the window at her room at around 8am.
On information, police recovered the body.
Police could ascertain whether she committed suicide or was killed. -UNB, Dinajpur
