A middle-aged man was crushed under the wheels of a train at Panchbibi rail station in Panchbibi upaizla headquarter on Saturday.
The deceased could not be identified.
Police said the Dhaka-bound inter district express train from Parbatipur hit the man in the area at about 2.30 pm while he was crossing the rail track, leaving him dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy. -UNB, Joypurhat
