A youth was stabbed to death allegedly by his cousin following a family feud at Birgaon village in Nabinagar upazila on Saturday night.
The victim was identified as Mainuddin, 20.
Witnesses said when Mainuddin’s cousin Ibrahim was beating his (Ibrahim) wife Mainuddin tried to resist him which led to an altercation between them.
At one stage, Ibrahim stabbed Mainuddin with a sharp weapon around 8:30pm, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to Bhairab upazila health complex where doctors pronounced him dead around 10pm.
Ibrahim went into hiding soon after the incident. -UNB, Brahmanbaria
