Dhaka – A man was killed as a vehicle ran him over on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Kabila area of Burichong upazila in Comilla on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Aftab Uddin, son of late Mujibur Rahman, a resident of Purbahossainpur village in Parbotipur upazila of Dinajpur district.Mahbubur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Moynamoti Highway Police Station, said that the vehicle ran Aftab over on the highway around 10:30 pm, leaving him dead on the spot.UNB news agency
