Dhaka – A man was killed and 30 others were injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Khulna highway in Puratan Muksudpur of Muksudpur upazila in Gopalganj on Friday night.The deceased could not be identified immediately.Azizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Muksudpur Police Station, said that the accident took place when a ‘Dola Paribahan’ bus hit a stationary truck parked beside the highway around 11:00 am.Then, a Chittagong-bound bus of ‘Didar Paribahan’ from Khulna hit the bus from backside which left one dead on the spot and 30 other bus passengers injured, added the OC.The injured were admitted to Muksudpur Upazila Health Complex.UNB news agency
