Community policing festival was held in Chapainawabganj on Monday afternoon.
Chapainawabganj police arranged a discussion meeting at
Chapainawabganj Stadium on the occasion of the association of USA’s
high commission office in Dhaka and Bangladesh Centre for
Communication Programmes (BCCP) and supported by USAID and Asia
Foundation.
It was held with the police super of Chapainawabganj Bashir Ahmed in
the chair and was addressed among others, by deputy commissioner of
Chapainawabganj Sardar Sarafat Ali as chief guest, member secretary of
Chapainawabganj district committee of Community Policing Mohit Kumar
Da and former cricketer of national team Mehrab Hossain Api.
Members of police, community policing committee, local elites and
teachers and students of 16 educational institutions attended the
function.
