MYMENSINGH- The construction work of 4 pucca roads began in Muktagacha upazila of the district.The government has sanctioned taka over 2 crore for the construction of over 4 kilometres of road, LGED sources said.Roads are: Muktagachha Nutan Bazar to Malotipur via Pathalia, Muktagachha Bidhagonj via Pirakandha, Muktagachha Devogram and Ramchandrapur Banbangla.
Local government Engineering Department (LGED) is implementing the project.Muktagachha upazila Engineer Asit Baran Dev told BSS that the construction work is likely to be completed this year. On completion of the construction work, rural communication network will be developed and the people of the surrounding areas would be able to carry their agricultural products easily to Upazila Headquarters and different parts of the country as well and get fair prices of their products, he added.(BSS)
