Corruption, misrule, politicisation grips Govt: Charmonai Pir

The Pir Shaheb of Charmonai Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim on Monday said it’s not politics to concentrate power into hand and indulge in luxuries. The government is clinging to power therough corruption and musrule. Through the st atement of Prime Minister’s adviser HT Iman on the January 5 elections all relevent things have come to light as to how people were appointed and how the ballot boxes were filled.In a statement issued to the press the Charmonai Pir who is also the Ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh said that the government is riddled with irregularities, supression of opposition, filing of fabricated cases, deterioration of law and order and politicisation of the administration and the judiciary.
Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim said, peace can not be expected by keeping the prevailing order in place. Peace and welfare is to be found only in Islam, he said urging all to come under its banner.
The Ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh said there were laws for punishing blasphemy and violation of religion in various  countries of the world indlucing Pakistan. Law against violation of religion to punish offenders should be enacted also in Bangladesh which is his words was the largest Muslim country in the world. In the absence of legal provisions for punishment non-believers and athiests were repeatedly hurting the sentiments of religious people by making adverse remarks against Prophets (sm) and Allah Almighty.
The Pir Shaheb made the remarks while he was exchanging views with people of different professional and occupational groups at the close of a mohfil of the Charmonai Madrasah and called for making Islami Andolan’s December-5 grand rally at the National Press Club square in Dhaka a success.
