Dhaka- A man and his wife were killed in a road accident at Ranihati on Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid highway in Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj on Saturday noon.The deceased were identified as Aslam Uddin alias Enamul, 65, and his wife Miniara Begum, 55-residents of Islampur area of the district town.Officer-in-charge of Shibganj Police Station Habibul Islam Habib said when the couple was going to Rashiknagr village of the upazila in a motorbike a truck hit their motorbike around 12:15, leaving the duo dead on the spot.On information, police recovered the bodies and seized the truck.UNB news agency
