President of Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) Mujahidul Islam Selim received a death threat through his email early Saturday.One Nizam Uddin, introducing himself as the nayeb-e-ameer of ‘Mission Jihad’, sent the email around 12:28am, said party sources.
CPB presidium members denounced the threat and demanded immediate arrest of the email sender.
In a statement on Saturday evening, they also urged the law enforcement agencies to ensure security of the CPB president.- UNB
