I had a chance to meet a quite good number of brilliant but poor students who got A+ in the SSC and most of them failed in Chemistry in HSC 2013.It is revealed that creative questions on Chemistry was introduced in SSC in 2011 and the same students faced the first time creative questions on Chemistry in HSC in 2013. All of these students have seen the creative questions for the first time in their final exam.
Now all of these brilliant students have lost one year, most valuable time from their life and most of them have gone astray.
We know that creative questions on Math will be introduced in 2015 from SSC. We should work in a way so that all the teachers and students feel confident enough to handle with creative questions on Math particularly in the rural schools.
Ample sample creative questions should be uploaded in the educational web portal. A handout on creative questions should be given to all Math teachers and students. We should run training on creative questions round the year across the country simultaneously and do some especial work for math like Math Olympiad. Newspaper should publish creative questions to familiarise all with those.
Moreover, newspapers can invite creative questions from teachers and students. Senders of best creative questions can be awarded by giving prizes and their names can be printed in newspapers.
