Mymensingh – The certificate awarding ceremony of the 8-day journalism training on ‘Crime Reporting and Photo Journalism’ was ended at Graduate Training Institute (GTI) of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in Mymensingh on Sunday.The Vice-Chancellor (acting) Prof Dr Subash Chandra Chakraborty attended the programme as chief guest while executive editor of Daily Janakantha Mr Swadesh Roy, deputy editor of Samakal Mr Ajoy Dasgupta, Pro-VC (acting) Prof Dr S D Chowdhury attended as the special guest.
Training course co-coordinator Prof Dr Masuma Habib and Prof AKM Rafiqul Islam also attended the program while GTI director Mr AKM Rafiqul Islam presided over the programme.
Proctor Prof Dr Atiqur Rahman Khokhon, BAU Correspondent of Daily Jugantor SM Ashiful Islam, BAU Correspondent of Prothom Alo Shaheeduzzaman Sagor spoke at the function.
Funded by BAU administration, Graduate Training Institute (GTI) of BAU is organizing the programme.
